My mom and i used to live next door at the Roger Ploof apartments when i was a kid. 15/16 years ago. This place originally was called Frank Giavonni's at the time. Wanted to stop in after all these years, i was beyond impressed. The smell when you walk in really brings back memories. I had stewed chicken with red beans an rice. 8$ for a small was plenty for one person. Impressed the new owners are maintaining the original look of the store and the original recipes for the foods all these years later. Still tastes just as good as i remember. Definitely will be back when visiting upstate 🤍🙏🏼

They are well packed market with meats veggies seafood, etc. They have hot food that is amazing as well

The line is always a wait, so if your going to get lunch and get back to work, don't go, YOU WILL BE LATE. I got #4 chicharrones chopped up and paid $20 bucks OUCH! Food selection looked pretty dry and not inviting me to have some. Barely had a food aroma in their. They do have fresh produce! That's a major plus. More like a mini supermarket from fruits to your old school meat market.
